Strikeforce Women’s Featherweight Champion and #1 ranked, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos has announced via Twitter that she has re-signed with Strikeforce.
She also stated that info on her next bout will be announced shortly.
Strikeforce officials have yet to make an official announcement, however, Santos’ website states the deal stretches for a year; financial terms were not disclosed.

After several months of negotiations, Cris ‘”Cyborg” Santos the Standing Women’s 145lb Champion has re-signed with Strikeforce. Word comes directly from Cyborg’s camp. Cris has a record of 10-1 with her latest victory coming on June 26th 2010. With more than a year out of the cage, Cris Cyborg is excited and ready to get back in and show the fans and Zuffa alike why she is considered the pound for pound best female fighter in the world.
