The top submission grapplers in the world invade Nottingham, England this weekend to compete at the prestigious ADCC World Championships. The men feature 16 competitors in five separate weight classes, while the women have 8 competitors in just two weight classes; under 60kgs (132-lbs) and over 60kgs. The women competing this year are:

3. Penny Thomas, South Africa (North American Trials Winner)

9-16 The scheduled fight between Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras (1-0) and Sy “The Dragon Lady” Jewett (2-0) at Aggression MMA 8 was canceled when Jewett had to withdraw due to injury.

9-23 Cassie Rodish (0-3) takes on Mariah Johnson (0-4) at MCC 36: Back in Action.

9-24 10th ranked, Jessica “Evil” Eye (3-1) battles Casey “KO” Noland (3-1) at Bellator 51. The prelims will be streamed LIVE on Spike.com starting at 7pm EST, then the main card will air on MTV2 starting at 9pm.

9-24 Jasminka Cive (3-0) faces Sandra Jursova (0-0) at Braunauer: Fight Night and

9-24 Lynae Lovato (0-0) makes her pro debut against Nohime Dennisson (0-1) at United: MMA Bash.
