The Unified Women’s MMA Rankings for February have been released and with her biggest victory to date over Hitomi Akano, Sara McMann (pictured) climbs up the rankings to number 5 in the Bantamweight division.  Also, due to her suspension from the CSAC for a positive steroid test, Cris Cyborg has been removed from the #1 ranking position at Featherweight, and with the fight result being changed to a no contest, former 2nd ranked Hiroko Yamanaka now takes over the top spot.  To see these and the rest of the Unified Rankings, click here.

2-10  Top 125-pound prospects, Heather “Hurricane” Clark (4-1) and 10th ranked Marianna “The Crushen Russian” Kheyfets (4-0) clash at XFC 16: “High Stakes”.  This event will be televised LIVE on HDNet.

2-10   Pearl Gonzalez (0-0) makes her pro debut against Munah Holland (2-1) at Ring of Combat 39.  This event will be streamed LIVE and can be purchased for $15 at GoFightLive.

2-11  Three-time Russian taekwondo champion and K-1 kickboxing champion Ekaterina Saraykina (0-0) makes her pro MMA debut against 5th ranked Featherweight, Yana “Foxy” Kunitskaya (5-1) at Verdict Fighting Championship 1.  The bout will be contested at 155-pounds.

2-12  Jorina “Jo-Jo” Baars (0-1) and Danielle “The Curse” West (3-2-1) headline at “Girl Fights Only 7” in Holland.  The all-women’s card will feature MMA, boxing, and kickboxing bouts.
