DEEP 57 Impact takes place on February 18th at the Tokyo Dome City Hall in Tokyo, Japan and features a matchup between Yumiko Hotta and Amanda “Powerhouse” Lucas for the DEEP Open-Weight Women’s Championship.

Hotta (5-3) is a true pioneer of the sport, beginning her career in 1995. She would fight her last bout in 2000 on the “LLPW: The Strongest Lady” card, losing to Shinobu Kandori via armbar. Since that time, she has concentrated on her pro wrestling career. Lucas (3-1) began her career in 2008, losing a hard fought contest to Nicole Kavanaugh. She evened her record in 2009 with a decision victory over Christen Bedwell. It would be almost 2 years before Lucas would return to competition at DEEP 55 where she dominated Hikaru Shinohara on the ground before finishing her off with an armbar late in round one. Two months later she would return to the DEEP cage, this time quickly dispatching of Mika Harigai via a first round rear-naked choke. Now, she returns to the Land of the Rising Sun looking to capture her first title.
