Cage Warriors: “Fight Night 4” takes place on March 16th at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and features the first bout of the 125-pound 4-woman tournament as 5th ranked Sheila “The German Tank” Gaff faces off against top Brazilian prospect, Jennifer Maia. As with all Cage Warrior events, this one will be streamed LIVE and FREE on MMAjunkie.com.

After losing her third bout in a row at 145-pounds, Gaff (9-4-1) moved back down to her more natural weight class (125) to take on Swedish prospect, Hanna Sillen. At the time, Sillen was unbeaten and on a roll, however this night would belong to Gaff who delivered a stunning 8-second knockout. Two months later she would face off with highly ranked Aisling Daly, and again Gaff would own the night, stopping Daly at 1:34 into the first round with a barrage of knees and strikes. Maia (5-1-1) comes from the famed Chute Boxe camp in Brazil and is one of Brazils top young prospects. Like Gaff, she too has competed in higher weight classes, fighting mostly at 135-pounds. After going unbeaten through her first five fights, she would face her biggest test in Vanessa Porto, losing via a technical submission (armbar) late in the second round. In her last bout she would get back on the winning track by securing a second round armbar victory of her own over Tatiane Aguiar.

The winner of Gaff-Maia will move on to meet the winner of the second bout of the tournament which features a matchup between 2nd ranked Rosi “The Surgeon” Sexton and 6th ranked Aisling “The Bash” Daly. That bout is currently set for May with the finals scheduled to take place in the Fall. The winner of this tournament will not only be crowned the Cage Warriors champion, but will also be considered as the top 125-pound fighter in the world.
