April 19 – In a battle of unbeaten prospects, Canada’s Sarah “Cheesecake” Moras (2-0) topped hometown favorite Julianna “The Venezuelan Vixen” Pena (3-1) via doctor stoppage at 5:00 of round two at Conquest of the Cage. The injury came when Moras caught Pena in a deep armbar, however Pena refused to tap and continued fighting until the end of the round. Pena’s arm was clearly damaged and on the advice of the cageside physician, the bout was waved off.

April 20 – Claudia Gadelha (7-0) scored the biggest win of her career as she defeated Valérie “Trouble” Létourneau (4-3) via split decision at WRECK MMA: “Road to Glory”. Gadelha, who normally fights at 125-pounds, and Létourneau, who normally fights at 135, were originally set to compete in separate bouts at Freedom Fight: “Caged Combat” on the 21st, but when that event was postponed, they agreed to meet each other in a 130-pound catchweight bout.

Eye has now won four straight since her lone loss to Daly back in June 2011.
