Jessica Penne – Invicta FC Atomweight Champion

October 6 –  Invicta FC crowned their first champion as Jessica Penne submitted previously unbeaten Naho “Sugi Rock” Sugiyama to become the inaugural Invicta FC Atomweight titleholder. The victory was Penne’s third straight stoppage since dropping down to the Atomweight division.

October 6 –  Brenda “Boom Boom” Gonzales (3-0) also captured gold as she defeated former titleholder Sarah “Too Sweet” Alpar (3-2) via Unanimous Decision to become the new KOTC Flyweight Champion at KOTC: “Stranglehold”.

October 12 –  UK’s Emma Watson (3-2) meets Spain’s Karla Benitez (6-3) at Hombres de Honor 46.

October 12 –  After a successful amateur career, Summer Artherton (0-0) makes her pro debut against “Sassy” Cassie Rodish (2-3) at MCC 43: “High Octane”.

October 13 –  Darla “Train Wreck” Harris (3-0) tries to remain unbeaten as she faces Diana “Dynamite” Rael (3-3) at Made For War.

October 13 –  Glena “Heartless” Avila (2-0) takes on late replacement Emily Kagan (1-0) at DFC 13: “Coming Home”.

October 13 –  Maria “The Real Deal” Andaverde (1-2) meets an opponent to be determined at KOTC: “Double Down”.
