“Women’s MMA Today” gets you caught up on the week that was and the week that will be in women’s MMA.

—Weekend Results—

November 30 –  Ritika Singh (1-1) picked up the first win of her career by defeating Aya Saeid Saber (1-2) via Unanimous Decision at SFL 11.

December 1 –  Karolina Kowalkiewicz (2-0) remained unbeaten as she scored an Unanimous Decision over Paulina Bonkowska (3-2) at KSW 21: “Final Resolution”.

December 1 –  At Supreme FC, it was Camilinha “Pitbull” Lima (5-4) over Herica Tiburcio (4-1) via a very contentious Split Decision.

December 1 –  “Dany Fenix” (1-1) scored a TKO victory over Kaka Naja (2-1) when Naja was unable to continue after the second round due to a foot injury at MFC.

December 1 –  Pannie “Banzai” Kianzad (2-0) beat Cheryl Flynn (0-1) via TKO in round 1 at Vision FC 5.

December 1 –  Brenda “Boom Boom” Gonzales (4-0) stopped Elsie “The Sweetheart” Zwicker (6-5) via second round TKO to retain her KOTC Flyweight title at KOTC: “Battlegrounds”.

December 1 – At Pancrase: “Progress Tour 14″, Rin Nakai (13-0-1) won the inaugural Bantamweight Queen of Pancrase title by defeating Danielle “The Honey Badger” West (4-5-1) via Unanimous Decision and

December 2 –  Sylwia Juskiewicz (2-1) won her second bout in a row with a TKO victory over Eva Liskova (0-2-1) at GCF 18: “Destiny”.

—Upcoming Events—

December 7 –  Spain’s Karla Benitez (7-3, 1NC) and Russia’s Julia Berezikova (6-3) face off at SFL 12. This event will be streamed LIVE starting at 10:30am ET on SFL’s Youtube channel.

December 7 –  In a bout to determine who is the top Flyweight in the world, Jessica “Evil” Eye (8-1) meets Zoila “Warrior Princess” Gurgel (12-1) at Bellator 83. This bout will be the co-main event and will be shown on MTV2 starting at 7pm ET.

December 7 –  Heavy handed Heather “Hurricane” Clark (5-2) and Stephanie “Snowflake” Eggink (1-1) make their Strawweight debut at XFC 21. This bout is part of the main card and will be televised on AXS.tv starting at 10pm ET.

December 7 –  Kinberly Novaes (4-1) looks for her fifth win in a row as she faces debuting Karol Mutante (0-0) at Iron Fight Combat 2.

December 7 –  Anna Hyvarinen (0-0) makes her pro debut against Belinda “Bellringer” Sedgwick (0-1) at AFC 4 and

December 8 –  Openweight Champion Amanda “Powerhouse” Lucus (4-1) takes on Yuiga (3-5) in a non-title bout at DEEP: “Cage Impact 2012”.
