“Women’s MMA Today” gets you caught up on the week that was and the week that will be in women’s MMA.

After four successful events in Kansas, Invicta Fighting Championship announced that their fifth event will take place in California. While no official site or date was given, the event will most likely take place at the UCI Bren Events Center in Irvine on April 6th. Two championship bouts headline the card. In the main event, Jessica Penne defends her Atomweight title against the “Karate Hottie” Michelle Waterson, and in the co-main event, Barb “Lil Warrior” Honchak battles Vanessa Porto for the inaugural Flyweight title.
