Japanese legend Megumi “Mega Megu” Fujii is set to retire from active competition following an illustrious MMA career spanning nine years. Fujii announced plans for her retirement during Vale Tudo Japan 2nd event in Tokyo. She will compete one final time at VTJ 3rd in October. To read the complete article, (click here).

June 20 –  Poland’s Joanna Jedrzejczyk (4-0) scored the biggest win of her young career with a Unanimous Decision victory over Russia’s Julia Berezikova (7-4) at Fight Night: “Battle of Moscow 12”.

June 22 –  Kelly Faszholz (1-0) won her pro debut via a first round Rear-Naked Choke over Kristen “The Automatic” Gatz (0-2) at Cage Combat and

June 22 –  Celine “Hell-Girl” Haga (5-11) picked up her fourth consecutive victory via a first round Rear-Naked Choke against Masako Yoshida (16-18-5) at Road FC 12.
