December 18 –  Valentina Shevchenko (9-1) defeats Priscila Orellana (0-1) via TKO in round 1 at FFC 5

December 20 –  Luciana Pereira (4-3) defeats Paula Baack (0-1) via Unanimous Decision at Shooto: Brazil 45

December 21 –  Larissa Pacheco (9-0) defeats Irene Aldana (3-1) via TKO in round 3 at Jungle Fights 63

–Upcoming Bouts–

December 28 –  Ukraine’s Anna Moldavchuk (1-1) travels to Poland in search of gold when she takes on Lena Tkhorevska (2-1) for the Professional League of MMA’s Atomweight title at PLMMA 26.

December 28 –  Poland’s Barbara Nalepka (1-0) and Sweden’s Lina Länsberg (1-1) look for their second wins of 2013 when they face-off at Trophy MMA.

December 28 –  The most anticipated rematch in women’s MMA history takes place at UFC 168 in Las Vegas as undefeated UFC Bantamweight Champion “Rowdy” Ronda Rousey (7-0) defends her title against her arch-rival Miesha “Cupcake” Tate (13-4). The bout serves as the co-main event and is available for purchase on PPV.

December 31 –  Cage Warriors 63 takes place in Dublin, Ireland and features three female bouts. Defending their home tuff will be Aisling “Ais the Bash” Daly (13-5), Catherine Costigan (2-0), and Amanda English (0-0). Their opponents are Spain’s Karla Benitez (11-5), France’s Morgane Delagnau (0-0) and Italy’s Slavka Vitaly (2-0), respectively. This event will be streamed live on Facebook and MMAjunkie.
