Press Release – MMA Cartel managment group is announcing that consensus top 10 women’s strawweight fighter, undefeated Karolina Kowalkiewicz has signed a contract with the UFC and is awaiting her first bout for the American organization.
7-0 as a professional, Kowalkiewicz remained the highest ranked fighter outside the UFC but now enters the fray in the Octagon looking to improve on her record.
“Dreams are there to meet them and I am one step closer to meet my dreams. Now my goal is to be a strawweight UFC champion and I will face anyone who will try to stop me. I can’t wait my Octagon debut that will be later this year. I am already in a good shape and starting preparation for my first UFC bout.”
The 29-year old from Poland holds victories over Kalindra Faria, Simona Soukupova and Mizuki Inoue. In 2013 she became the first and only female champion of KSW, Poland’s top MMA organization and also fought for Invicta FC in the United States. She has gained a reputation for a very exciting fighting style having won performance bonuses for three of seven professional bouts.
