Unified Women’s MMA Rankings – December
The Unified Women’s Pro MMA Rankings are updated on the first of each month and are acknowledged by most media outlets as the official women’s MMA rankings assembled by division and weight class.
Fighters under suspension or who have not competed within the past 12 months are not eligible to be ranked (unless they have a verified fight scheduled within 60 days). Fighters who vacate a weight class will no longer be ranked in that division.

[…] Unified WMMA Rankings […]
My record is 13-5..too hard to understand huh…
Contact Sherdog to get it corrected:
http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Tonya-Evinger-18248
Tonya, how about giving the punishing weight drop a pass and finally give Cyborg some competition?
In the bantamweights why doesn’t Rin Nakai show up?
She has a 15-0 record and is still fighting.
Is she still “Amateur” or is it because she fights mainly in Japan?
She currently is just outside the top-15, and yes, it has to do with the caliber opponents she has faced.
What do you mean, Rin Nakai has a 15-0 record? She lost to Miesha Tate.

How in the world is a 3-0 fighter with not yet a full year get ranked higher than 7-3?? Where is the logic in that??
These are current rankings, which means more emphasis is put on recent fight performance. Ashley was 3-0 where as Patricia was 1-2 (albeit both losses to top competition).

Pretty good rankings. Think Zoila might be higher than Jessica Eye until they square off at Bellator 83 to decide who is on the way up the 125 ladder. Lot of new girls coming up and exciting to watch like Tecia Torres, Jessamyn Duke, Leslie Smith and Katalina Malungahu. Love the Invicta events which features these ladies.

Leslie Smith dropping to 125 should be interesting. Great to see so many of these ladies fighting more often due to promotions like Invicta and finally in the UFC.
Awesome, thanks for keeping this list updated, I’ve been checking back every month to see the latest women’s MMA rankings. Great work!!!

So Simona Soukupova is in TOP10 and Karolina Kowalkiewicz beats her and she isn’t in TOP10? Strange.
Soukupova is ranked Top-10 at 105 pounds (Atomweight), her fight with Kowalkiewicz was at 120 pounds.

Celine Haga over Stephanie Skinner? Dam when am I going to get some recognition for who I have beat
the women I look up to and respect. my 1st amateur is on the 18th … Heeeyyy
I guess everyone’s brain is hooked up to Sargeant’s. Does anyone running these ranking sites know what thinking for yourself means? Ever hear if Rose Namajunas? You know, Thug Rose, ranked #2 or #3 by the UFC but has barely broken into the honorable mentions on these other sites. Sargeant kicked me off his site for stating that he was crazy for not considering Thug Rose for honorable mentions status….and this was a year and a half ago!!! WTF!!!
One must remember that Rose’s wins on TUF 20 are considered by the AC as ‘exhibitions’ and not actual professional fights, therefore they’re not used for ranking purposes. With that being said, a win over Tecia Torres in her next bout (April 16), will definitely propel her into the top-10.
