Cage Warriors: “Fight Night 2” takes place at the Al-Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena in Amman, Jordan on September 8th and features a 132-pound catchweight bout between Angela Hayes and Aisling “Ais The Bash” Daly. Rosi Sexton and Sheila Gaff were scheduled to face off on July 9th to crown the promotions 125-pound champion, however the bout had to be canceled when Sexton suffered an injury during training camp. With Sexton still out, Angela Hayes was picked to face Gaff in a non-title affair at this event, but then the injury bug struck again when Gaff had to pullout due to illness. With only days left before the event, Ian Dean, Cage Warriors matchmaker, went to work to find a replacement. Enter 7th ranked, Aisling Daly. Always ready for a scrap, Daly (11-2) jumped at the chance to be a part of the first ever female bout to take place within the country of Jordan. In her last bout, Daly upset Jessica Eye to win the NAAFS 125-pound Championship, a title she will defend in November against Kelly Warren. Hayes (4-5) began her career in 2006 with tough losses against some of the top names in the 135-pound division, names like: Ginele Marquez, Tonya Evinger, Jenn Tate and Julie Kedzie. After taking 2009 off to retool her game, she returned in 2010 and is currently riding a three-fight win streak.
