Lisa Ward-Ellis captured her third World No-Gi Grappling title at the FILA Grappling World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia this weekend. Ellis also won No-Gi titles in 2008 and 2010, she was a silver medalist in 2009. Tara LaRosa and Shayna Baszler didn’t make the trip due to lack of sponsorships.

—Weekend Results—

10-1 Darla Harris (1-0) won her pro debut by defeating Jenn Berg (2-4) via unanimous decision at Bring the Thunder MMA 2: Genesis.

10-1 In her pro debut, Latoya Walker (1-0) defeated Jackie Enos (0-1) via KO in round one, Molly Estes (1-0) also got her pro career started on the right track by defeating Lacie Jackson (1-1) via unanimous decision, Heather Clark (4-1) beat Sarah Alpar (2-1) via RNC in round three and Kaitlin Young (5-5) scored a first round TKO over Liz Carreiro (5-8) at FCF 49: Fight Strong for the Cure.

10-1 Sarah Schneider (5-5) defeated Ivana Coleman (1-2) by armbar at 4:30 of the first round, Amy Davis (2-2, 1NC) scored an impressive TKO victory over Meghan Wright (1-3) at 1:03 of round one, Ediane Gomes (8-2) won via unanimous decision over late replacement Leslie Smith (3-2), in the Fight of the Night, Patricia Vidonic (5-1) stopped Chelsea Colarelli (6-3) via RNC at 4:04 in the second round, Anna Barone (2-2) defeated Charmaine Tweet (0-2) by KO at :18 of round one and Barb Honchak (5-1) defeated a very game Roxanne Modafferi (15-9) by RNC at 1:46 in the third round at BlackEye Promotions 5: Breast Cancer Beatdown.
