May 21 – In a rematch three years in the making, Charmaine “Not So Sweet” Tweet (4-4) looks to avenge a 2011 KO loss to Anna “Smiles” Barone (2-3) when the pair face off at Wednesday Night Fights 2. This bout marks the first time that a women’s bout has headlined an event in Quebec.
May 23 – Top ranked featherweights collide when Denmark’s Maria Hougaard (5-4) takes on Italy’s Annalisa “No Fear” Bucci (6-3) for the European MMA Featherweight title at EuMMA 9 in Denmark. Hougaard is riding a three-fight win streak while Bucci has won five of her last six.
May 24 – In Brazil, Mariana “Mari” Leonardo (2-1) meets Gabriela Lins (0-0) at America’s FC 1 and Liana Pirosin (1-0) battles Dayse “Guerreira” Nascimento (1-2) at Copa Strikers House 37.
