Pancrase: Impressive Tour 6 takes place on July 23rd at Shinjuku Face in Tokyo, Japan and features 2 women’s bouts as veteran “Windy” Tomomi Sunaba takes on Sadae Suzumura and Kimie “Sakura” Okada battles number 9 ranked Strawweight by the Unified Women’s MMA Rankings, Yukiko Seki.
“Windy” Tomomi (16-13-1), who is a true veteran of the sport having competed against such top fighters as Megumi Fuji, Miku and most recently Mei Yamaguchi, will have a tremendous experience advantage over Suzumura (1-0-1) who has fought only twice. “Sakura” (0-4-1) will also be at a tremendous experience disadvantage against Seki (8-20). While its great that Pancrase is at least including women, one would hope for more evenly matched bouts.
