NAAFS: “Caged Vengeance 10” takes place on February 18th at Gray’s Armory in Cleveland, OH and features a matchup between top 125-pound prospects as 9th ranked, Jessica “Evil” Eye battles Jackson’s MMA product, Kelly Warren. This event will be streamed LIVE for $10 at GoFightLive.
Eye (5-1) began her pro career in 2010 with three consecutive victories, defeating Amanda LaVoy via a second round TKO, Marissa Caldwell via decision and Ashley Nee via a first round TKO. In June 2011, she took on Aisling Daly for the NAAFS 125-pound Women’s Championship. Eye would find success early in the fight before submitting to a rear-naked choke late in the second round. Since then, she has rebounded with two convincing decision victories over Casey Noland and Jennifer Scott. Warren (3-1) also began her career in 2010 with three victories, winning via decision over Amanda LaVoy, first round triangle choke over Karina Hallinan and a second round arm-triangle over Sarah Lacina. In November 2011 she faced off against Daly for her title. Like Eye, Warren would have success early in the fight, before tapping out to an armbar late in the second round. With both Eye and Warren looking to get back into title contention, a victory in this pivotal matchup is critical.
